More than 2,400 student, faculty, staff and groups have been included in the 328 pages of the 2009 Agromeck yearbook. The 328-page book was delivered to students who pre-ordered a copy on April 14-15. See if You’re In The Book. The book is now available for students, parents and alumni through the NCSU Bookstore.

2008 Edition Receives Highest National Award

2008 AgromeckN.C. State’s student yearboook, the Agromeck, edited by Mary Beth Hamrick, and its literary and arts magazine, Windhover, were recognized with a Gold Crown Award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association this spring. 2007 Agromeck receives Pacemaker; 2008 edition named Best of Show

(BACK) Bradley Wilson, Xander Dale, Bobby Earle, Caitlin Cauley; (FRONT) Michele Chandler, Suzanne Brinkley, John Cooper Elias

For the second time, the Agromeck yearbook received a Pacemaker award from the Associated Collegiate Press, one of only seven books in the nation to receive that organization’s highest honors. The 2008 edition of the book was named Best of Show at the national convention in Kansas City. In addition, the 88.1 Second of Technician podcast produced in cooperation with WKNC radio was given third place for Best of Show for Audio Podcast.

2007 Agromeck, Windhover receive top national award

2007 WindhoverN.C. State’s student yearboook, the Agromeck, and its literary and arts magazine, Windhover, will be recognized with a Crown Award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association this coming spring. “Our students continue to produce some of the finest publications in the country, even at a school without a journalism degree,” said Bradley Wilson, adviser to both media. “They work hard every day to document the activities of some 30,000 students and additional faculty and staff as well as to give them an outlet for creativity.” CLICK HERE for more information

Staffers Win Individual Recognition
