I don't know how they make a profit and, frankly, I don't care. All I know is that the Emporium Ice Cream shop inside the Talley Student Center sells exquisitely luscious handmade ice cream in cones and cups for just one dollar. Maybe it's related to a research project in the Department of Food Science. Maybe it has nanotech flavor particles that break down saturated fat in your intestines. I don't care. All I care about is enjoying a sweet and frozen treat on a humid summer day. Oh yeah, and figuring out how to remove chocolate stains from cotton.
