Group Cycling

 


What is group cycling?

An indoor cycling class taught by certified instructors that consists of amazing cardio challenges, varying speeds and resistance levels, hill climbs, flat runs, and more! Let the instructor guide you through a ride that you can tailor to fit your own personal fitness level and goals. This class is great for beginner to advanced participants - because participants set their own resistance levels.

General Information

Note:  You must be a member of the Carmichael Complex to register and utilize services and should present your All-Campus ID card at the time of receiving service and purchasing.

PE will offer classes beginning in the Fall 2009.

Pricing Information

Students:
$35 Fall pass, $35 Spring pass

Faculty/Staff:
$45 Fall, $45 Spring

$5 Guest Pass or One-Time use

Group Cycling Policies
  • Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless cancelled or approved by NCSU Campus Recreation.
  • Each participant MUST provide their NCSU ID or Carmichael Complex Membership Card prior to each class to participate. No exceptions! cycling passes provide unlimited use of the class BUT do not guarantee a seat.
  • Bike seat passes will be handed out on a first come first, first serve basis by the fitness monitor before each class. Monitors will have 1 card for each bike to pass out to reserve a participant spot in the class.
  • Participants must provide monitors with seat pass and NCSU ID with appropriate sticker to participate upon entering class.
  • Participants are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes before the start of class to ensure proper set up of the bike.
  • No participant will be allowed in class after 10 minutes of the posted start time of class to ensure participant safety.
  • All bikes have SPD clips. Participants are welcome to bring cycling shoes that clip into the pedals but may NOT remove pedals and insert their own clips.
