STUDY ABROAD

Environmental Sciences is truly a global field requiring an understanding of worldwide forces and cooperation among nations. NC State provides a global perspective within the environmental sciences curriculum and encourages undergraduates in this program to pursue study or work abroad opportunities. Students can choose from a variety of programs that fit different scheduling and budget needs, including programs that take place during spring break, summers, semesters, or across an entire year.  For example, students can use their elective credits to spend a full semester at a foreign university without adding time to complete the B.S. degree in Environmental Sciences. General Steps to Study Abroad

• Explore and research your study abroad options at http://studyabroad.ncsu.edu
• Attend a general advising session with the Study Abroad Office.
• Meet with your advisor to determine your possible courses to take at host institution.
• Complete and submit the Course Approval for Study Abroad.
