Webcast

For those unable to attend the program in person, "The Facebook Phenomenon" will be availble through a webcast. Check back as the specific logistics of the webcast become available.

How to Register for the Webcast

Go to the Registration Page and select the "Register for Webcast" option. There is no cost, but we do need to know the number of webcast participants to ensure that everyone can join in.

How to Connect to the Webcast

There are two different websites that will carry the webcast, each requiring a different media player. Choose whatever works best for you. We recommend that you install any necessary software at least a day or two prior to the event to ensure that everything will run smoothly.

1. Webcast via Quicktime http://comtech.ncsu.edu/old/files/student/wolfbytes.mov

Those using this link will need Quicktime installed on their computer. Quicktime is available for PC, Mac, and Unix workstations and is a free download from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qt/ (be sure to select the 'Free Download'). Please note that the link is active with other content, so you can check your connection well before the program.

2. Webcast via RealPlayer http://realaudio.ncsu.edu/ramgen/encoder/talley.rm

Those using this link will need RealPlayer 10 installed on their computer. Realplayer is available for PC, Mac, and Unix workstations and is a free download from http://www.real.com (be sure to select 'RealPlayer Basic'). Please note that the link won't be active for the program until a few minutes before the start of the program.
