Facilities Division Calendar

It's time to start take photographs for the NC State University 2011-2012 calendar!
The theme for this calendar is Design Harmony.
The guiding principle “Design Harmony” capitalizes on visual unity arising from the blending of the old and new, the human scale and architectural detail of the Campus Neighborhoods, and the beauty and coherence of the Campus Paths. The architecture exhibits enduring quality and beauty, and new development draws upon the context of the surrounding architecture, scale, materials, and landscape to create or enhance neighborhood unity. The FACILITIES DIVISION strives to create a harmonious collection of buildings, places, and movement, which are defined by a set of architectural, landscape, and natural system standards.

Photographs may be entered at any time.

Enter as many photographs as you’d like. The more quality photographs that are submitted the better chance of having one selected for publication.

Here are a few helpful tips:

Enter the highest resolution photograph that your camera is able to take.

Take photos in all seasons.

Do not resize, crop, or make color and exposure corrections to you photos as these adjustments will be made for you.

If your camera is able to take raw files please submit them in addition to the .jpgs.

All submitted photographs will be considered for the calendar and all future publications by the Office of the University Architect including the next edition of the physical master plan book - A Campus of Neighborhoods and Paths and the Master Plan Poster.
