Resolution on
Graduate Student Payroll Change

Whereas: an impending plan will change NC State Graduate Students from monthly to bi-weekly payroll, and

Whereas: if implemented this planned change may result in withholding one-half of graduate students July stipend, and

Whereas: the proposed plan will impact all incoming first  year graduate students arriving in August 2006,

Resolved: that the NC State Faculty Senate supports implementation of this plan, only after such a time that a procedure has been devised to ensure that graduate students will continuously receive their full stipend each month during this transition.
