About FCTL
The Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning was created in January 1998 in response to the university's commitment to excellence in teaching. Under the leadership of Dr. J. Douglas Wellman, the FCTL emerged from the faculty's long-held dream to become a source of community and scholarship among colleagues passionate about teaching and learning. Today, the FCTL proudly stands as a champion for those who strive to pursue excellence in teaching. The center provides services and resources for all of those who teach at NC State.
