Dogs Go for the Gold

Dogs of all shapes and sizes spent a recent Saturday lending a collective paw to their less-fortunate comrades, all while competing in a myriad of games at the 16th annual Dog Olympics. The student-run event helped raise approximately $4,000.

During the last week of September, students from more than 20 campus organizations left the comforts of their apartments and residence halls behind and moved into a village of 16 sparse, wooden shacks strewn together on the NC State brickyard.

WE Recycle

From Trash to Tradition

Through the WE Recycle program, NC State football fans have pitched in about 4 tons of cans and bottles at every home football game this season – recyclables which would otherwise have ended up as parking-lot litter or sent to solid-waste disposal sites.
