Undergrads Try Hands at Energy Research After spending part of last school year running computer simulations of a nuclear reactor, Justin Carey spent his summer working for GE-Hitachi Nuclear Energy, Inc. Carey's not a graduate research assistant conducting experiments while pursuing his advanced degree at NC State, but one of 15 undergraduates gaining real-world experience after winning energy research fellowships last fall. |
