Conducting research on campus is an involved and intensive process, both within the study itself and following the necessary steps that adhere to certain guidelines and conduct. Following is information regarding research activities that all postdocs need to consider when engaging in research activities.

NC State University’s Libraries have subject specialists who can
provide research assistance, guidance and advice on such tasks as conducting
literature reviews, choosing databases, setting up search alerts, using
bibliographical management software, and finding data, primary
historical documents, and conference proceedings. D.H. Hill also provides information on the importance of documenting searches; doing this will greatly aid one's research practices. The D.H. Hill
Library, Design Library and Natural Resources Library are located on
main campus, the Textiles Library is on Centennial Campus, and the
Veterinary Medicine Library on the Biomedical Campus.
Centennial Campus Partnerships
Centennial Campus is about partnerships. Linking University resources with corporate and government partners provides unique benefits to both sides. For our corporate and government partners, access to smart people, cutting edge research and superior facilities and equipment equals competitive advantage in the market place. Corporate and government partners find convenient access to the research and development expertise existing in NCSU faculty, specialized facilities and equipment, and students who are eager to apply their knowledge to real-world problems. Such access leads to positive economic benefit for the company and the people of North Carolina. For NC State, the cross-fertilization of corporate and government research partnerships pays dividends not only in increased financial support for research, but also in providing opportunities to realize the needs of the corporate world.
