1. What is your favorite space on NC State campus?
My favorite space on NC State's campus is the Triad Pavilion, located between Syme, Gold and Welch halls. It is a great place to relax, grill out or study when the weather is nice.
2. Why do you choose to live on campus?
I have lived on campus all four years. I lived in Owen Hall my first year and lived in Syme Hall for the past three years as a Resident Advisor (RA) and Administrative Coordinator (AC). I also lived on campus at Avent Ferry Complex and Syme Hall for the past two summers as a RA and Summer Conference Assistant (SCA). I love the community and the relationships that I have built while living in Syme Hall; there is always something going on and someone to talk to. It is also extremely convenient to live on campus. I have had the opportunity to participate in a number of events and organizations due to the close proximity of my living situation, as well as take advantage of being able to use the library, eat in the dining halls and go to the gym without having to get in my car and drive to campus.
3. What is your favorite place to eat?
My favorite place to eat is Steak ‘n Shake in Raleigh.
4. What else are you involved in on campus?
Aside from working with University Housing for the past three years, I have also been an officer of NAMI on Campus (National Alliance on Mental Illness) for the past three years. I also participate in the Psychology Club, Psi Chi and the University Scholars Program.
5. What is your favorite TV show or movie?
I don't watch TV, so I don't have a favorite TV show. My favorite movie changes frequently, but right now it is “Silver Linings Playbook.”
6. If a penguin walked into the Honors Village Commons wearing a sombrero, what would he say?
Quadfather, bring me some tacos or I'm nacho friend anymore.
