Financing the Future

A transition to a modern system of tax and finance will take great political will, a lot of imagination and new combinations of leadership.  IEI has no delusions that it will take a significant commitment of resources and people a long time to get it right.

IEI’s  Financing the Future program of work brings together state and local leaders along with national experts to debate the issues and find a system that is right for all of North Carolina, whether it be rural, suburban or urban. In doing so, IEI seeks to begin new conversations about North Carolina’s financial system, sparking the imagination of our leaders.
