Business Committee on Financing the Future

IEI’s Business Committee on Financing the Future (BCFTF) is serving as an indispensable mechanism for helping to complete the work of the Legislative Study Commission (LSC). The BCFTF is working in paralle with the LSC, by becoming thoroughly informed about the issues, by educating peers in business across the state about the issues and by communicating to the commission and other political leaders a detailed and independent view reflecting the needs of business.

The BCFTF is in the process of finalizing its thoughts on the importance of and a direction for tax modernization.  These views will be shared with candidates for state office, legislative leadership and staff, and other stakeholder groups.
