Changing Landscapes: Building the Good Growth State?

Solutions In Action

At the 2009 Emerging Issues Forum, many participants agreed that our infrastructure systems are in desperate need of repair and new construction. But two questions remained unanswered: "How are we going to pay for all this?" and "How does this affect the way we work together?"

IEI's work focuses on promising infrastructure investment strategies and the importance of cross-jurisdictional collaboration when managing, building and maintaining our critical built infrastructure. These two areas will be the focus of IEI’s work post-Forum as was determined by extensive deliberations by IEI’s working groups as well as engaging discussions at the 2009 Emerging Issues Forum.
