Research Summary
Dr. Zhu's research interests include MEMS/NEMS design, fabrication and characterization; mechanical and multiphysical characterization of nanotubes and nanowires; and mechanics of thin films. In particular, he is interested in development of novel tools and techniques based on MEMS/NEMS for probing mechanics of nanostructures, interfaces and biological cells.
