The mission of the Office of Advising Support, Information and Services (OASIS) is to provide academic information
to current undergraduate students through virtual and face-to-face cross curricular advising. Some of the services we offer include:
General Advising / IntraCampus Advising
Our advisers provide cross-curricular advising to all NC State undergraduate students. These students have expressed an interest in changing their curriculum and are often referred by their assigned academic adviser to our unit for intracampus advising. We also serve prospective transfer students with maximizing the application of transfer credits, helping make their transition seamless.
Advising is Teaching
The Office of Advising Support, Information and Services uses a variety of developmental instructional methods to ensure that students have the opportunity to meet their full academic potential at NC State University. Our experienced team of academic advisers carries out many responsibilities related to academic advising, teaching, coaching and mentoring.
