The official inauguration of the Honorary Consul took place in the Joyner Visitor Center of NCSU on October 15,2008. Presiding at the inauguration was Dr. Li Vice Provost of OIA, together with Provost and Executive Vice-Chancellor Dr. Larry Nielsen. 

The official ceremony accrediting Dr. Fountain was under the direction of Dr. Kupiecki Ambassador and Piotr Erenfeicht, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland. 

The emblems of Dr. Fountain’s office were presented to him to be placed in the Consulate.
