make the most of your day
| Open House - October 19, 2013 |

Open House is a great way to gather information about the wide variety of resources available to students at NC State University. There will be many activities taking place during Open House. To get an idea of what to expect at Open House, you can check out last year's program.
There is no formal schedule to your day. However, to make the most of your day, we recommend the following:
- Plan to arrive early
- Attend an admissions information session
- Attend an information session specific to your academic interest(s)
- Visit a residence hall
- Check out information tables
- Get your Wolfpack wear at the NC State Bookstore
- Grab a bite to eat!
- Take a tour of D.H. Hill Library
The first step in planning your day is determining where to start. Consult the parking map and determine the parking location near the events you'd like to attend first. Once you park, go to the welcome tent closest to your parking area and pick up a program for the day. Please keep your program close, as it will assist you with navigating your way around campus. Your program will also provide a schedule of events that will help you make the most of your day.
If you are interested in Engineering or Textiles, plan to start your day on Centennial Campus and park in decks C, D or E. When you have enjoyed Centennial campus, move your vehicle to parking deck A or B to explore North and Central campus (Main campus).
Parking decks A and B are the best options for all other academic programs. Once you have enjoyed North and Central campus (Main Campus), feel free to move your vehicle to parking decks C, D, or E to explore Centennial Campus.
