The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) at NC State is interested in cultivating and improving the dialog between university licensors and industry licensees.  With a shared mission of moving useful technologies into the public sector, we approach our partnerships with optimism.

A successful university-industry collaboration pairs significant intellectual property with the application of that knowledge to the creation of goods and services. Properly constructed, these collaborations ultimately endow society with a public good far exceeding the isolated efforts of either organization.

The combined efforts of an excellent partnership result in far reaching contributions: economic growth, an improved standard of living, improved diagnostics, platforms for continued advancements, etc.
