On May 13 and 14, 2004, Hal Meeks, a Certified Palm Trainer from the Information Technology Division at NCSU, held a palmOne Savvy workshop to teach faculty and staff how to effectively use their new Tungsten C Palms. The session was beneficial to both novice and experienced Palm users. Mr. Meeks discussed several capabilities of the Palm handhelds, including the address book feature, infrared technology, connecting to NCSU's wireless network and accessing e-mail and the Internet with Palms.
