The National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics is a diverse organization of service professionals who promote the integrity of their profession by providing guiding principles and quality services to support one another as they share information, resources and expertise in their efforts to empower student-athletes to become more productive individuals through educational and personal development.

September 17, 2009 – - N4A mourns the loss of Dr. Myles Brand and expresses sincere condolences to his family as well as the NCAA. Dr. Brand was a champion and advocate stressing the importance of academics in athletics. He will be greatly missed.
September 16, 2009 – - Just Announced Charlotte F. Westerhaus, Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) will be this year’s featured speaker! In her position, Westerhaus leads the Diversity and Inclusion office which works with member institutions to develop and implement strategies that will increase representation of women and minorities in intercollegiate athletics leadership positions..
