Grandfather Mountain Residential Workshop

We are pleased to announce that Brazilian and Finnish teachers will participate in our 2005 workshops. We hope that many of you will attend and gain different perspectives about international education!

Grandfather Mountain Residential Workshop
June 27-July 2, 2005 (Monday-Saturday)

A workshop for educators in the mountain environment. Lectures, discussions with scientists, and outdoor activities on air quality, mountain bogs, habitat preservation, biodiversity, and human influences. Participation in fieldwork, technology applications, environmental monitoring, ArcVoyager instruction. Instruction in the mountain-top classroom at Grandfather Mountain, NC (www.grandfathermountain.com/); accommodations at Lees-McRae College (www.lmc.edu) in Banner Elk, NC.
