With the 2009-2009 academic and fiscal years behind us, it’s useful to look back at the progress we’ve made in certain areas and the areas we’ve identified for improvement. Financially, the NCSU Student Media is in solid shape. Although in the short-term, due to the declining economy, we’ve increased our dependence on student fees, the long-run we should be able to decrease that dependence. We had a solid year in recruitment and in recruiting a diverse array of students. We also increased the visibility of the program through active participation in the North Carolina College Media Association and other state, regional and national associations.
