North Carolina State University’s student publications have been serving the campus and surrounding community for more than 100 years. The University is situated in the heart of Raleigh, the capital city of North Carolina, and is near the communities of Cary, Durham and Chapel Hill. The surrounding area is home to 1.7 million people out of North Carolina’s approximately 9.5 million residents.

N.C. State is the largest university in the state, home to nearly 30,000 students, and is the third largest employer in Wake County, employing 8,000 faculty and staff members. The majority of students at NCSU are in-state students (28,608) but we also have 3,233 out-of-state students, representing all 50 states, and 2,530 international students from more than 100 nations.

Each of the media are run exclusively by students. Technician is funded almost solely through advertising monies. WKNC, Agromeck and Nubian Message are funded through sponsorships and advertising monies but also receive a significant amount of student fee money.

Thank you for your interest in joining the N.C. State family through your advertising.
