At the January meeting, Board members decided to meet in their advisory groups (committees) instead of meeting as a large group. The advisory groups are charged by the chair with interviewing the candidates for top leaders and making a recommendation to the Board. The Board members may choose to follow the recommendation, re-open applications, interview candidates on their own or appoint another candidate with the approval of the majority of the Board.

The next full meeting of the Board is March 1, 2011 in the Student Senate chambers on the second floor of the Witherspoon Student Center.

CANDIDATE FORUM

On Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. all of the candidates will appear at a public forum to answer questions about their vision for the Technician, Wolf TV, WKNC 88.1fm, the Agromeck yearbook, Windhover literary and arts magazine and the Nubian Message. The forum, in Riddick 339, is open to anyone who wants to attend.
