Students named finalists for national awards
The College Broadcasters and Associated Collegiate Press named six students as finalists for national awards to be given later this fall.
For the second time in two years, College Broadcasters, Inc. has recognized “88.1 Seconds of Technician” as a finalist for best newscast in its national student production awards.

Yearbook, radio station, daily newspaper win SCJ awards
The national Society for Collegiate Journalists released the names of the national individual and publication award winners. Yearbook, literary magazine both win Gold Crown
N.C. State’s student yearboook, the Agromeck, and its literary and arts magazine, Windhover, were recognized with a Gold Crown Award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association this spring, the highest award given by the national association.
“This award indicates that your publication ranks among the best in student journalism,” said Edmund Sullivan, executive director of CSPA.
