The national Society for Collegiate Journalists has announced the winners of its annual publications and broadcasting contest, with Agromeck, Technician and WKNC among the honorees. SCJ recognizes the top submissions for yearbook, newspaper, broadcasting, magazine and online media along with offering awards for individual writing and imaging and overall excellence.
NCSU Student Media received national recognition from the Associated Collegiate Press, College Media Advisers and College Broadcasters, Inc. at the National College Media Convention Oct. 26-30 in Orlando, Florida. NCSU Student Media sent four students and two advisers to the National College Media Convention Oct. 26-30 in Orlando, Florida. The group attended informational sessions on topics ranging from photography, design and writing to recruitment, management and running meetings. They even brought home a few awards.
