Steps to Publishing

Step 1: Export

export

A new window will open called publish_to_web. This is your final product and contains everything you need for the web. Rename it something without spaces or periods that says something about the event. Tip: include the year because chances are if whatever you covered has not already happened it will happen again next year.

save

Step 2: Upload

  1. bookmarkOpen Cyberduck.app
  2. Double-click on the files.wknc.org bookmark.
  3. Drag your newly named folder to files.wknc.org.

Step 3: Publish

  1. Open Firefox. It’s absolutely obnoxious, but a few of the necessary features of collegepublisher’s admin site are broken for the most standards compliant rendering engine on earth: WebKit. This effects both Apple Safari and Google Chrome (if you’re cool enough to use them).
  2. Log-in to admin.collegepublisher.com (talk to the editor or Fred if you don’t have a log-in)
