Mission: Wolf TV will provide a variety of high-quality programming primarily by and for the students at North Carolina State University and will supplement the newspaper with instantaneous, broadcast coverage. Students will have the final say over content and will uphold the highest standards of journalistic ethics. (Approved Jan. 13, 2009)
Wolf TV History: Wolf TV was started in 1999 as a campus movie channel under the auspices of Communication Technologies Student Services and supervised by B.J. Attarian. In 2005 the decision was made to change the format of the channel from a movie channel to a student-produced content channel. In 2007 a Wolf TV student organization was formed to facilitate content creation for the channel and MSS began discussions with Student Media about transferring the responsibility of Wolf TV to Student Media. Wolf TV initially broadcast on campus channel 87. In 2010, Wolf TV commissioned its logo by David Goldstein and revamped website by Tim O’Brien.
