Publish it!

You’ve made your soon-to-be-viral video, now all that’s left is to get it out there.

Step 1: Upload

Go to vimeo.com and upload your video. This usually takes about a half-hour to upload an process.

Step 2: Choose thumbnail

Still on vimeo click on video settings, then ‘thumbnail’ on the left. Choose your thumbnail from the options or upload your own.

This is especially important because the WolfTV site uses this thumbnail on it’s homepage. Choose well!

Step 3: Create your post

Head over to ncsu.edu/wolftv/wp-admin and create your post. Click on Posts -> Add New. Add a fitting name. You have free reign over the description, but be sure to tell who helped make the video. You can embed photos and detailed info like behind the scenes information.

Click to save.

Step 4: Copy and paste URL

Copy the URL to the vimeo video (for example, http://vimeo.com/12862320). Paste it in the input box that says ‘Video URL’ under the ‘Post Video Options’ box that’s under the main editor box.

Paste the video URL (both youtube and vimeo will work) in the Post Video Options box

Click Update Post and you’re done.
