Disc golf rental includes: 1 driver, 1 multi-purpose disk, and 1 putter. To find a local course, check out the Disc Golf Directory of NC http://www.discgolfdirectory.com/north_carolina.php. Additionally, Centennial Campus is building a 9 hole disc golf course that is anticipated to open this fall!
Fridays at the Climbing Wall
Looking for a fun challenging activity for your Residence Hall, Fraternity, Sorority, club or other organization?
Outdoor Adventures is now accepting group reservations to climb at the campus rock wall on Fridays from noon to 11:00pm throughout the semester. Programs can be tailored to meet the needs of your group, as an instructional, recreational or as a team-building event. Contact Outdoor Adventures to schedule a time for your group today at (919) 513-8216.
All on campus participants must have a current gym membership
$5/person/hour (all equipment, instruction and staff is included)
Minimum of 2 hours
Minimum group size 10
Maximum group size 40
Staff Belay Sundays
Don't have a climbing partner or want to try climbing before taking a belay clinic? During Staff Belay Sundays you can come climb at rock wall, while Outdoor Adventures trained staff assists you. This is an excellent opportunity to check out indoor climbing at NC State, while our staff provides the safety by properly handling the ropes. Dates are Oct. 25, Nov. 22 and Dec. 6 from 4:30-6:30 pm.

Attention all adventure seekers - get your cameras ready! Outdoor Adventures is hosting a photo contest and you could win a $30 gift certificate for FREE rentals! This is your chance to show off your photography skills and have your winning picture displayed on the Outdoor Adventures’ website.
Contest Rules:
- Each individual renter can submit one photograph (jpg, tiff, psd)
- The photograph must include at least one piece of Outdoor Adventures equipment in it
- The photograph must be taken and submitted between 8/19/09 through 12/4/09
- The winning photograph will be chosen and announced on 12/7/09
- The winning photograph will be displayed on Outdoor Adventures’ website during the Fall Semester
- The winner will also receive a $30 gift certificate redeemable for rentals only (gift certificate will expire on 12/31/10)
