Special Programs
To broaden the scope of programming in Campus Recreation, we offer programs that come to you. We'll bring this program to your site. It's easy! Pick a program, request a date and our staff will come out and implement to your group.

Jump into Fitness – This program will discuss the 4 components of fitness; cardiovascular health, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility. Also measure Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure, and hip-to-waist ratio. A member of the Fitness staff will also discuss related programming as well as how they can set up a basic work-out at Carmichael Recreation Center.
Intramurals in a Box - Choose from one of the six Intramural Team Sports (Flag Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, 4-on-4 Flag Football) for a workshop that explains the basic rules and modifications for playing intramural sports at NC State. This program combines physical movements with verbal instructions to demonstrate the game. Major rule differences between high school sports and intramural sports at NC State are highlighted.
