An accident report can be obtained from the law enforcement agency that responded to the accident. Send a prestamped preaddressed envelope to the agency i.e. Raleigh Police Department, P.O.Box 590, Raleigh, NC 27602, ATTN: Records. A copy can also be obtained from the NC DMV usually within the 10 business days of the accident.
