Resources for Teacher Leaders

SUCCEED resources are based on theory and research principles, called the Integrated Learning Framework, described in all the materials. SUCCEED resources support course curriculum to prepare mentors and instructional leaders to support teacher development. This curriculum is embedded in graduate education courses at NC State University and NC Central University and in several North Carolina school systems’ teacher mentor programs. As well, an adapted version is used with school counselor mentor and peer coaching programs. SUCCEED resources can be applied across the career span and across disciplines to prepare:

• Mentors for beginning educators
• Instructional leaders in schools
• Supervisors of pre-service educators
• Peer coaches for experienced educators
