ABOUT DUAP NEWSLETTER
What We DoThe Division of Undergraduate Academic Programs (DUAP) promotes excellence in undergraduate education at NC State through a variety of activities involving students, faculty, staff and departments throughout the University. We often coordinate numerous special initiatives that cut across disciplinary and college boundaries. We also help colleges and academic programs develop outstanding visions for undergraduate education, coordinate academic policy as well as curricular programming and offer assessment services to quantify and track program success. We also offer a variety of services directly to undergraduates. These programs help ensure that students who graduate from NC State are equipped with the intellectual and personal skills they need to thrive in the 21st Century, are aware of and approaching their full potential, have been given the chance to take advantage of special opportunities keyed to their unique strengths and are motivated by a sense of civic responsibility to share their talent and contribute to the world. Our MissionNC State University's Division of Undergraduate Academic Programs (DUAP) is charged with developing a coherent vision for undergraduate education, assisting with implementation and application of academic regulations, enhancing pedagogy within curricular and co-curricular programming and strengthening academic support programs. Within the University mission, DUAP seeks to engage undergraduate students in a wide range of academic activities that enhance their learning and result in more profound intellectual and personal development.
