There are many opportunities for WISE women to get involved in with WISE, elsewhere on campus and in the community, including conferencese, community service, K-12 Outreach, leadership, mentoring, study abroad, workshops, etc. Below is information on some of those opportunities:

10th Annual Women in Leadership and Development (WILD) Conference, a collaborative effort among Triangle-area colleges for female students designed to inspire, develop, and empower a diverse community of collegiate women as leaders by teaching relevant skills, creating networking opportunities, recognizing and challenging structural barriers, and encouraging self-reflection.

K-12 Outreach
Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) is a conference designed to expose sixth and seventh grade girls in NC to successful role models in the science, engineering and mathematics fields. The conference is scheduled for TBA (note that this is during NCSU's Spring Break). Volunteers are needed! If you'd like to volunteer, e-mail the WISE Director.
