Abstract submission
Email your completed abstract form as an MS word document to Nicole_Wilkinson@ncsu.edu. Do NOT send a PDF. Please indicate in the subject line of your email that you are submitting an abstract for the WRRI annual conference. Faxed or mailed abstracts will not be accepted unless approved given extenuating circumstances.
presentation topics
Please download the abstract submission form above for a list of potential topics. This list is representative of topics covered at past conferences, but is not fully comprehensive and abstracts on other water-related topics will be considered.
naming your abstract document
Save the abstract submission form with the following file name format: “LastNameFirstName_PresentationType(Oral, Poster)” Example: "WilkinsonNicole_Poster"
deadline
Abstracts deadline extended to Monday, January 14th at 4:00 p.m.
abstract acceptance
You will be notified one way or another as to whether your abstract has been accepted. Notification will be sent by email in late December/early January. Note that if your abstract is accepted and you choose to present, you MUST register for the conference even if your registration is being waived (e.g. in the case of student presenters registering by March 15th).
formatting
Please do not use any special formatting on your abstract submission. Single-spaced, 12-point font, left justified is the preferred abstract format.
abstract limits
Abstracts are limited to 250 words. You may submit more than one abstract if desired. Separate forms are required for each abstract, but may be submitted in the same email.
