Purpose: These workshops are structured to educate and familiarize design professionals on the NC Sedimentation Pollution Control Act (SPCA), the rules implementing the Act, and design standards for erosion and sedimentation control best management practices (BMPs).
Workshop Objectives:
- Familiarize yourself with updates to the SPCA and design guidelines
- Understand the plan review process and the keys to success
- Review the basin design considerations for common plan features
- Learn about latest technologies for erosion and sedimentation control
- Receive updates on stormwater issues
Credits: 12 PDHs will be available to professional engineers and land surveyors, and 10 continuing education hours for landscape architects upon completion of one of these workshops. Please provide your license number on registration form.
