Purpose: These workshops are structured to educate and familiarize design professionals on the NC Sedimentation Pollution Control Act (SPCA), the rules implementing the Act, and design standards for erosion and sedimentation control best management practices (BMPs).
Worshops Objectives:
- Familiarize yourself with updates to the North Carolina Erosion and Sediment Control Planning and Design Manual
- Understand the plan submission and review process for keys to success
- Learn about the inspection process for erosion and sedimentation control measures
- Learn about the latest technologies and methods for erosion and sedimentation control
- Receive updates on stormwater management issues
Credits: 12 PDHs will be available to professional engineers and land surveyors, and 10 continuing education hours for landscape architects upon completion of one of these workshops. Please provide your license number on registration form.
